I am a retired Navy veteran who provided leadership and mentorship to many of his fellow workers. As an instructional systems designer and curriculum development, I bring 11+ years of experience to the table. I am well versed in 508 compliance and ADDIE. I hope to bring those experiences to wherever I go. I am well versed in various LMSs and e-authoring tools. I’m a hard worker, a team player and excited to see what projects could benefit from my unique skill set.

Instructional Designer, Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation
• Developed and implemented five mandatory web-based courses (1. Annual Information Security, Privacy, Insider Threat Awareness, and Re portal; 2. Records Management; 3. Continuity of Operations Plan; 4. No Fear Act; 5. Annual Ethics Training) which helped the federal agency train 200 - 4,000 personnel per year. • Created two web-based courses for a new Budget Department system to maintain continuity of training.
• As an LMS Administrator, maintained and oversaw approximately 2,800 personnel accounts, created approximately 200 seminars, and ran analytical reports as requested.
• As a Contracting Officer's Representative, managed and oversaw the computer applications training program. Scheduled approximately 70 seminars while maintaining an overall attendance of 85%.

Instructional Designer, Prescient Edge
• Designed and developed instructor and student guides and other materials for the "Aspiring Leaders Program".

Instructional Designer, Turbo Consulting
• Developed and implemented three web-based courses for another governmental entity, Introduction to Communications Security and Basic Information System Security Officer, in order to train 400 personnel annually.
• Developed and implemented the Government Purchase Card Program Blackboard course for Finance Division to reduce budgetary costs resulting from travel. The course is designed to train approximately 120 new card holders annually.
• Co-developed 18 face-to face lesson plans along with supplemental course materials for an inaugural curriculum, which will be used to train approximately 300 new students annually. • Analyzed and provided consultation services to various stakeholders for three projects. Previous iterations of these three courses provided no ‘value-added’ in their present form. Client accepted recommendation of reformatting of content delivery.
• Collaborated with 34 SMEs from the various divisions within the organization on various learning projects.

Senior Enlisted Advisor/ Training Officer, US NAVY
• Developed and implemented individual training plans for 39 junior personnel for job promotion purposes. As a result, 33 personnel advanced.
• Developed and implemented twelve standard technical procedures, increasing quality and timeliness of daily support products by 30%.
• Organized and coordinated 20 training sessions for 250 staff members to provide information in regards to educational benefits.
• Identified and resolved issues, mediated staff disputes, and handled customer complaints and inquiries.
• Implemented and enforced rules and regulations as set forth by the organization.
• Due to a shortage of personnel, re-organized the staff structure, which streamlined productivity by 50% and reduced administrative errors by 25%.

Executive Agent for Afloat Training Group Pacific, US NAVY
• Developed and implemented a two day instructor led course consisting of observing, recording, and transmitting scientific data.
• Due to organizational needs and collaboration with various SMEs, researched, developed and implemented an inaugural five day anti-submarine warfare training team course, setting standards for training and certifying future deployment teams. 157 personnel successfully completed the course.
• Trained, assessed, and qualified over 45 navigation teams, ensuring guideline compliance guidelines as set forth by organizational regulations.
• Analyzed and briefed tactical recommendations to executive level management regarding daily global operations to include asset management and safety of personnel and naval assets. Reduced time in Afghanistan/Iraq by 40%, and saved the Naval Research Laboratory over 500,000 dollars due to his accurate analysis and recommendations.
